If you don't have anything nice to say . . .

Not everyone is a fan of painted furniture. I get that. I think it's fair to say that most that don't care for it, don't bother going into a store that focuses on painting furniture. I had a visit from an exception to that rule when I was working on this sideboard.

I was sanding after the first coat of paint and was pretty happy with it, when a voice said, "Make up your mind; do you want the paint on or off? If you're going to sand it off, why put it on in the first place? You should have just left it alone." Then she left. I didn't say a word. Very unlike me, but probably

a good decision.

I think it's pretty. Hopefully, the customer I did it for agrees. :)
